Avocado Mayonnaise


This avocado sauce has a very pleasant and gentle taste, especially if it is prepared ​​with homemade mayonnaise.

My mayonnaise could be used as a dip for vegetables, chips, crackers or bread. But most of all I like to use avocado mayonnaise for sandwiches and salads.  It is a wonderful sauce with a pleasant color.

Avocado Mayonnaise


1 ¼ – 1 ½ cup


  • 1 avocado, peeled, seed removed
  • 1 cup good quality mayonnaise, preferably homemade
  • Lemon juice or lime juice to taste and optional
  • Salt
  • Black pepper 




In a container (or a jar) mash the avocado with a fork to a paste.

Add the mayonnaise, black pepper and 1 tsp of lemon juice. Stir. Adjust salt, pepper, and lemon juice to your liking.

A blender or a food processor can be used to make this sauce.
