Bacon wrapped dry fruit is a very simple and very tasty appetizer. A combination of salty and sweet, as it often happens, is beneficial in this recipe.
I like to use a variety of fruit, such as dry apricots, prunes and dates. The diverse taste of dry fruit gives a unique kick to each piece of the appetizer.
Enjoyable and easy to make, they are excellent for a holiday table or any party.
- 4 prunes
- 4 dried apricots
- 4 dates
- 6 strips of bacon
Preheat oven to 375 F (190 C).
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Cut each strip of bacon in half crosswise. You will have 12 pieces.
Wrap each piece of bacon around one dry fruit and fasten with a toothpick.
Transfer on the baking sheet. Cook in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Bacon should be a little crispy on the outside.
