If you are a big fan of the Bahama Mama, this refreshing drink is probably not for you. Well… If the Bahama Mama is your favorite cocktail, you still can adore the Kentucky Maid.

Simple, chilling, slightly sweet, sour, and minty – these are your tasting notes when sipping the Kentucky Maid.

My husband found this delightful recipe in the Bloomberg magazine when he was going through political and financial news (ha… you have to stay cool, cold and refreshed while reading this type of news…).

The cocktail turned out exactly the way we like it – not sugary, breezing, easy to make and very enjoyable at summer time. It is a great addition to our cocktail collection.

Thank you, the Bloomberg!
