- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
Pour the sugar in a small saucepan. Cover with water. Bring to a boil and simmer on very low heat until the sugar is completely dissolved and the syrup becomes transparent, approximately for 10 minutes. Do not stir, but you can swivel the saucepan. Cool, pour into a jar or a bottle. Store refrigerated or at room temperature.
